The Cresswind Men's Silverball team WON the Spring Season Championship! There were more than six community teams who competed in the finals at Chateau Elan. Our team defeated the first place Chateau Elan Racket Club two lines to one. It was a great season with our team hovering near or at the top all season. Making the winning season possible were:

• Team Captain Danny Brown and Co Captain T.C Ho along with Cresswind resident players: Bill Papciak, Newt Keith, John Ulam, Jeff Lievense, Roger Otto, Jeff Agnew, Rick Osterloh, Gordon Watts

• A few non-residents: Bobby Moore, David Saltarelli, Mark Hannington, Martin Titus, and Stuart Chambers

• Rick and Jeff Agnew were out with injuries but came by to cheer us on. Gordon keeps a spot on the team even though he didn't make it home to Cresswind during the season

This season it was decided by all the teams to start rotating the Silverball Trophy to the champion. That means we are in possession and will defend it in the fall.
